天平水果批发市场地处广汕、广从、广韶公路交汇处，地理位置优越，交通方便。经过多年的经营及几次扩建，现在面积13000多平方米，设有130个固定摊 位，48个临时摆卖档，市场布局成“川字型”，通道环绕市场东南北三大出口，货物畅流。主要批发南北干鲜果及部分进口水果，品种齐全，是广州市规模第二大 的专业性水果批发市场。场内设有地磅、公秤处、昼夜值班室、装卸队、运输车队，为顾客代开成交单，代客鉴磅服务；设有果类信息栏，消费者投诉站、投诉电 话，复秤服务台等多项服务。市场现有工作人员32名，其中，工商管理人员19名，治安员13号，实行24小时开放式管理办法，方便各方的果商进场经营，市 场曾多年被评为国家、省、市文明市场。
