烟台海城南台鸡蛋批发市场简介：南台鸡蛋批发市场以南台镇迅猛发展的蛋鸡饲养业为依据。目前，全镇蛋鸡饲养量达300多万只，饲养1万只以上的就有 100多户，蛋鸡饲养产业成为全镇重要的经济支柱，也为鸡蛋批发市场的兴旺繁荣提供了巨大的产业支持。 1991年，南台镇投资200万元建成了今天的鸡蛋专业批发市场。市场的形成，使其成为鲜蛋销售的一个重要载体。南台鸡蛋专业批发市场位于辽宁省海城市南台镇境内，沈大高速公路、哈大公路、铁路均纵贯其境。每天来自全国各地的运销车辆达100多台，市场年销售鲜蛋6000多万公斤，年成交额达3亿多元，成为全国有名的鲜蛋集散、价格指导和信息传递中心。
市场功能的不断加强，有效地刺激了蛋鸡饲养业的快速发展，目前全镇蛋鸡饲养业已经形成了重雏孵化、饲料生产、设备供应、防疫病、技术培训和市场销售 等六大服务体系，初步形成产业化格局。产业和品牌也赋予了南台鸡蛋极强的生命力，南台鸡蛋销往国内20多个省，其中有2/3还运销到广州，并经过广州进入 港、澳市场，南台镇目前已成为粤、港、澳重要的鲜蛋储备供应基地。
