长沙红星大市场简介：长沙红星大市场，位于长沙市韶山南路井湾子以南800米。市场占地1300亩，目前已形成蔬菜、畜禽、水果、水产、粮油、花卉、 糖酒、副食、百货等九大经营项目，同时建有定点屠宰厂、长沙红星园林绿化有限公司、红星农产品物流配送有限公司等加工流通企业，是湖南省最大的以农副产品 经营为主的集群市场。市场从开业以来，在各级党委政府及长沙市红星实业公司的关怀和支持下，一是紧紧围绕“农”字做好文章，搞好物流贸易，做大做强市场。2003年市场实 现畜禽交易（包括猪、牛、羊、狗）130万头，屠宰36万头；蔬菜批销100万吨，粮油交易80万吨，水产交易36万吨，水果交易65万吨，市场总交易额 32亿元。二是健全销售网络，倡导诚信经营，打造“红星”品牌，服务消费者。与经营户共同开发建设农副产品生产、加工基地100余个，并建立起省内外分销 和连锁市场32个。现有经营户5000多户，主要经营鲜活农副产品和农副产品加工制成品，农产品贸易辐射到全国26个省、市、自治区，2000多个县 （市）。
