武汉电脑大世界主体楼高二十层，集综合商铺与专业写字间为一体，其1～5层是主营IT电子商品的大型电子卖场，经营面积1.5万余平方米，有500余户商家；6楼为仓库；7～19层为写字间，面积1.8万平方米，有100余家公司入驻，出租率达95%以上；总建筑面积为3.5万平方米。大楼配套设施齐全，安装有中央空调、应急发电机组、消防监控系统、红外监控系统、五部客梯、一部货梯和四部扶梯。
作为武汉经营面积最大的电子卖场，武汉电脑大世界在2003年度，针对商场、写字间人流急增的情况，为了给商户提供更好的经营环境，提高商场的竞争力，开展了一系列的扩建改造工程: 1月份为商场部分新建两部客梯，为写字间新增一部电梯；3月份一楼部分商铺扩建；6月份四楼整体改造；10月份地下室整体改造；同时，还聘请了知名的物业管理公司——启胜物业管理公司，在治安、设施（备）、环境、卫生等各个方面提高管理服务水平，丰富服务内容，提升服务质量。
武汉电脑大世界位于武汉市洪山区珞瑜路131号，毗邻武汉大学，与华中师范大学隔街相望，地处光谷的门户，武汉电脑商家云集、有近20年历史的科技一条街的核心，周边环视有南极电脑广场、珞珈电脑城、华中数码电脑城等多座电子卖场；东南西北四面分布有华中科技大学、华中师范大学、武汉理工大学和武汉大学等多所知名大学；附近还有亚洲贸易广场、群光广场等大型购物中心。
1997年，武汉洪港置业发展有限公司——一家港资控股的合资房地产企业开始开发武汉电脑大世界项目，1998年商场部分招商营业，2000年写字楼投入使用，是武汉唯一一家具有自主产权的大型电脑科技大厦。
