该市场占地面积8万平方米，总建筑面积约为15万平方米，一期工程位于“万众城1一3楼及万众城农贸市场2－－4楼”共计约6万平米。“万众城”市场作为服装批发业的一支新军，旨在填补深圳本地市场之空白，巩固广东服装批发市场在国内领先地位，加强南北服饰的对流，融洽南北服饰文化。
该市场主要组织深圳、东芜、珠江三角洲及港、澳、台地区的大众品牌，运用项目影响力打开全国市场，项目全面运作服装将达2000种品牌，2万余种款式，商品结构主要以时尚、流行产品为主，辅助经营平价广场和精品推介区。商品款式较为接近港台等国际服饰潮流，时尚性强，总体商品在价格及文化含量上具有一定的优势，现时东莞、深圳、惠州等地己有700余家生产厂商申请加盟，有近300家企业或批发商已获得入场经营资格。
该市场运作以“大商业”的概念操作，营业卖场为全开放式经营，统一形象，统一员工管理与统一宣传，统一装修风格；引进P0S系统进行营运管理，逐步将本项目过渡为一大型的服装批发展示中心，服饰文化交流中心。
